UK - England to Wales

English roads, especially in small towns, are SO narrow, with rock walls either side and no footpaths, that we were soon nervous wrecks. Thanks goodness we have a small campervan and not a large motorhome! We got ourselves onto the M5 and stayed there all the way to Gloucester while we recovered from our day driving around the English countryside. Our next 'Britstop' was at The White Hart Inn at Newnham-on-Severn very close to the Wales border. We enjoyed dinner and a couple of local beers. Our van is parked in their carpark right next to the Severn River.
